Computed radiography (CR) is one of the advanced RT method that generates digital images indirectly and provides both cross-sectional and volume images of the object under inspection.

CR is intended to detect internal imperfections in materials, welds, fabricated parts, and components. This method is widely used to do CUI inspection and wall thickness measurement that can detect corrosion, deposits and pipe wall thinning on stream.
