The portable hardness tester measures the Leeb hardness (HL) using the rebound method according to Leeb. The determined Leeb hardness can be convert to other (static) hardness values, Brinell (HB), Vickers (HV), Rockwell (HRA, HRB, HRC), Shore (HS) for metal and tensile strength for steel (Rm).
